We will also be making an award for best floral photography. Pictures may be posted on our website, Cogeco or part of the final judging contest at Northgate Square. Keep in touch for possibe prizes and specific contest rules.
2007 Organic Garden Contest Winner

Front Yard Garden Contest. Where the competition can be absolutely rootless.
This summer we will be judging front yard gardens as visible from the curbside or sidewalk so that the judges won't be wandering around your backyard at all times of the day. Final judging will take place July 26 by the North Bay Master Gardeners from a number of nominees received. We plan to have a number of categories for judging so please keep an eye on this website for details.

Community Gardens. Getting together to share the dirt.
If you live in an apartment or work with a group of friends to maintain a neighbourhood garden please let us know. Similar to the Front Yard Garden Contest the garden must be open to the public and easily visible without crossing through private property. An award will be made for the best community garden.

Business Gardens. Where more than money grows on trees.
Each week through June and July, North Bay Blooms will recognize a local business garden and thank them for making the extra effort to make their place of business look even brighter and more colourful with a garden for all to enjoy.

Organic Yard Contest. Pleasure without guilt.
In 2007 Nipissing Environment Watch sponsored an Organic Yard Contest with a $300 grand prize. It is expected that the contest will be grown again this summer. Pictured is the award winning garden and yard of Rick & Yvonne Liberty many of whose pictures are also featured on this website.
