North Bay Blooms Bus Tour
North Bay Blooms garden bus tour took to the streets on Saturday July 18 for a 3 hour flower-power tour. The tour stopped to view 6 absolutely beautiful front yard gardens - the sheer volume and variety of plants was fantastic - obviously the result of years of labour and loving care by dedicated homeowners. The tour, led by Kathryn Takacs of North Bay Blooms and Geri Oppenshaw of North Bay Blooms and the North Bay Horticultural Society, also stopped for a stroll through Sweetman's Gardens which proved a nostalgic treat as many participants recounted their memories of how the garden has grown and changed over the years.
Huge thanks go to the homeowners who cheerfully welcomed the bus tour, answered countless questions and even provided a few cuttings for gardeners to take home.
