Thank you to Union Gas for helping with one of our most productive clean up nights ever. Over three truckloads of junk were pulled from the trail areas along the escarpment near the education centre. 

Out of sight from any neighbours in the area the trail access points are a common destination for garbage dumpers. Fines range from $50 to $5,000 for anyone caught dumping garbage illegally.

Fourteen volunteers were kept but during the evening picking up junk along the trail and roadsides.

The City of North Bay appreciates the volunteer efforts of groups like Union Gas working with North Bay Blooms and will pick up the collected debris and take it to the Municipal Landfill.
