Hampton Inn cleans up around the neighbourhood July 20
Thank you to Hampton Inn manager Carrie Delongchamp for encouraging staff members to help with North Bay Blooms last clean up night of the summer. Clean up was along McKeown Avenue, Champlain St & Chippewa Creek. A container of gasoline, an abandoned mattress, a broken desk, 8 bags of litter an an old car seat were all picked up and taken to the landfill courtesy of Hampton Inn - thank you for all of your help.

A big thank you to Jacob, Brooklynn & Ben for a great job helping out this evening. As a special bonus for a great clean up job the junior clean up crew received coloured popsicles courtesy of Hampton Inn - great way to beat the heat.
North Bay Community Living Monday, July 18
Wednesday Clean Ups came twice this week as Mike & Julie with Community Living cleaned up along the Booth Road area in West Ferris. Special thanks to Jacqueline as this was her second year of helping out on clean up day.
North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce July 6
Thank you to North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce members and Crime Stoppers for helping with this week's clean up around the north end of Northgate Square and Laurentian Avenue. Shopping carts, plastic items, electronics and a number of bags of litter were all picked up during the evening. one of the hottest clean up nights so far this year.

Union Gas Wednesday, June 8
Great job and tip of the hat to our Union Gas crew! Cleaning up some of the trail areas on top of the escarpment, three large truck loads of garbage were set aside for transfer to the municipal landfill. Tires, a shopping cart, old mattresses, broken television sets, broken furniture and assorted junk had been dumped in the area since our last clean up.

YES Employment Wednesday, June 1
Thank you to Amy and all of the volunteers who helped out with the Parks Creek clean up.
About 20 bags of garbage, a tire, two old tarps and a stroller were all pulled out of the creek or picked up along the shoreline. Great start to our clean ups around town for 2011.
Kiwanis Club of Nipissing Saturday, May 28
Kiwanis Club of Nipissing and Kiwanis Aktion Club worked to clean up some junk along Chippewa Creek this weekend. Two shopping carts, some left over election signs, a road pylon and numerous bags of litter were collected for transfer to the City landfill. Thanks to YES Employment, Big Bothers & Big Sisters for helping with volunteers and to Tim Horton's for sponsoring the clean up.
Aktion Club heading for Duchesnay Falls Wednesday, May 25
Thank you to the Aktion Club for coming out again this year to clean up Duschesnay Falls and the lower trails. Mo major stuff like tires & shopping carts but the group pick up 18 bags of litter including a hypodermic need
that was safely collected with advise from Dennis Chippa with the North Bay HIV/AIDS Society. Great and this year - no rain!
